New Flowfinity Actions 7.5 Offers Extensive Offline Functionality for Mobile Enterprise Applications

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Flowfinity Wireless Inc. today announced that it has extended its offline feature set for mobile enterprise applications, delivering even greater opportunity for enterprise users to be more productive, anywhere they are. The new features are offered in Flowfinity Actions 7.5, the latest version of its highly flexible application software that supports cross-platform enterprise app creation without programming.

Flowfinity Actions 7.5 will allow users to save current progress and switch between multiple Flowfinity apps with or without network connectivity. This is especially useful when performing data collection tasks such as pipeline inspections, agricultural management and remote construction site reporting which require diverse information to be gathered or accessed when there is no Internet connection available.

Parameter or filter-based search has now been extended to offline use, enabling users to quickly filter through thousands of records to find the information they need, anytime. Lookups that allow information to be stored in one app and copied into another app are also fully supported offline. This enables reference lists such as customer names, addresses or retail store locations to be stored on-device for quick access by any Flowfinity app or form. Offline lists can be filtered by a location-based lookup, so that users can find the location or field asset nearest to them.

Other improvements included in Flowfinity Actions 7.5 are a new UI styled for iOS 7, native device support for Windows Phone 8, and improved capabilities for sketching on photos embedded within Flowfinity mobile forms.
