IRVINE, Calif., April 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- South Pacific Financial Corporation (SPFC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Manginelli and Dan Malouff as Co-Presidents of SPFC.
Former CEO John Johnston will assume responsibilities of a new subsidiary mortgage company of SPFC called ubermortgage.
"People make the difference," said Johnston. "It isn't magic that makes a company great; it's the people — the hard work, the dedication, the commitment to excellence — of which Manginelli and Malouff embody. We're excited to have them take the helm at SPFC."
Both Manginelli and Malouff have extensive executive experience at SPFC. Manginelli's previous position was Executive Vice President. He entered the mortgage industry in 1986 as a Loan Officer, becoming a top producing Branch Manager by 1988. Throughout his career, he's consistently delivered record-breaking levels of production.
Malouff's previous position was Executive Vice President of Secondary Marketing where he grew the servicing portfolio approaching $2 billion offering Conforming, FHA and VA products with minimal overlays as well as competitive Jumbo products. In addition to Capital Markets, Dan also oversaw Fair Lending and Technology.
There are few layers of management at SPFC, which has proven to be an attractive asset when recruiting. Executive Management is just one call away. That won't be changing. "We are one family wanting each other to succeed at the highest level," said Malouff.
"I like to say that at South Pacific you don't work for a company, you work with a company," added Manginelli. "#SucceedAsOne, that's not just our hashtag, it's our mantra; it's part of our culture that's evident throughout the company."
