New Medical Marijuana Dispensaries to be Opened by Yavapai Herbal Services in Prescott Valley and Cottonwood, Arizona
PRESCOTT, Ariz., Aug. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Yavapai Herbal Services, a Prescott dispensary located near the intersection of Arizona Highway 69 and the Prescott East Highway, was recently granted approval to operate by the Arizona Department of Health Services and will begin serving patients on August 9th. The Cottonwood dispensary, located on Arizona 89A, will follow on August 16th, 2013. Central Arizona's latest dispensaries will bring Prescott area and Cottonwood patients a premier medical marijuana retail experience and the highest class of service.
Both Yavapai Herbal Services locations will be open everyday from 9 AM to 6 PM. The dispensary locations will provide an environment conducive to learning about the products and patients will be informed about the different strains of medical marijuana for treating their conditions. Similar to prescription pharmaceuticals and over the counter medications, there are several different types of medical marijuana. Patients seeking this complementary medicine will also have the option to receive educational materials containing medical uses, side effects, and contraindications. The knowledgeable and friendly staff at Yavapai Herbal Services will drive the patient experience.
Yavapai Herbal Services plans on being an integral part of the Prescott and Cottonwood communities, providing safe and affordable access to exceptionally high-quality medicine. The dispensary will also have digital menus to showcase strain-specific information and simplify the selection process for patients.
Every year, Yavapai Herbal Services will commit a percentage of its proceeds to patient programs as well as other non-profit and charitable organizations that educate patients about their rights. The dispensary will look for opportunities to work with Yavapai County, Prescott Valley, and the City of Cottonwood on improving patient access and create a volunteer program that will help qualified patients. The directors of the dispensary have a strong retail background that will bring a high level of customer service to patients.
