COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical technology management firm MEMdata is proud to announce the completion of another successful hospital project. Endless Mountains Health Systems (EMHS) cut the ribbon on a new, state-of-the-art critical access hospital, utilizing MEMdata's Equipment Planning services. EMHS is located in Montrose, Pennsylvania, serving the greater Susquehanna County area.
The new hospital covers 85,000 square feet, including a new physicians' clinic, laboratory, ER, ORs, and Imaging department equipped with CT and MRI. It replaces a 21,000 square foot building that served EMHS for almost 40 years.
"We would definitely utilize the equipment planning services of MEMdata again," said Peggy Sheffler, Materials Manager at EMHS. "And we will continue to utilize MEMdata for equipment procurement and price benchmarking going forward."
Zach Mazoch served as MEMdata's Project Manager during construction. "Each time we assist a community in equipping their new medical facility, there is a tremendous sense of fulfillment watching it all come together," said Mazoch. "Getting the best technology at the best price is more important than ever for hospitals."
Rex Caitlin, EMHS CEO, commented as well. "We decided to switch Equipment Planners to MEMdata mid-project, making their job even more difficult. Zach and the MEMdata team were a tremendous help. We are very pleased with MEMdata's efforts on this project. We couldn't have done this without them."
