COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical technology management firm MEMdata is proud to announce the completion of another successful hospital project.  Endless Mountains Health Systems (EMHS) cut the ribbon on a new, state-of-the-art critical access hospital, utilizing MEMdata's Equipment Planning services.  EMHS is located in Montrose, Pennsylvania, serving the greater Susquehanna County area.

On November 8, 2013 Endless Mountains Health System dedicated a brand new, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. On November 8, 2013 Endless Mountains Health System dedicated a brand new, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. The new facility replaces an outdated and undersized building that had struggled to keep up with the healthcare needs of the local community. The new hospital will begin serving the Susquehanna County, PA in early December with a new physician center, OR, ED, and an expanded imaging center. The new hospital covers 85,000 square feet, including a new physicians' clinic, laboratory, ER, ORs, and Imaging department equipped with CT and MRI.  It replaces a 21,000 square foot building that served EMHS for almost 40 years. 

"We would definitely utilize the equipment planning services of MEMdata again," said Peggy Sheffler, Materials Manager at EMHS.  "And we will continue to utilize MEMdata for equipment procurement and price benchmarking going forward."
