New P&G brandSAVER Features Coupons for Trusted Products Alongside Inspiring "Future Friendly" Tips From Students Nationwide

CINCINNATI, March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) (NYSE: PG) will release its April 2011 brandSAVER coupon booklet on Sunday, April 3, with more than $110 in savings on a wide range of popular, trusted brands. The brandSAVER will feature many of the company's Future Friendly products that save water, save energy or reduce waste in the home or during the manufacturing process.

In addition to coupons, the April brandSAVER booklet highlights inspiring submissions from P&G Future Friendly's recent Find Your Footprint student contest, hosted in conjunction with National Geographic. The Find Your Footprint program was developed to inspire students to monitor and reduce their environmental footprint. Featured contest entries demonstrate the importance of conserving natural resources and the simple steps consumers can take in their homes to improve their own environmental performance.

Also featured in the April brandSAVER is the latest addition to the Future Friendly product portfolio, compacted powder laundry detergent.  P&G has compacted its powder laundry detergents by 1/3, offering the same number of loads, cleaning performance and scent experience with up to 24 percent less total packaging.  Additionally, compacted laundry detergents offer significant reductions in carbon emissions, energy consumption, packaging waste and water used during manufacturing and transportation.  Other Future Friendly products featured include:

• Ultra Tide for ColdWater® – Save up to 80% on energy in each load *by switching from warm/cold to cold/cold for all loads in a standard top loader machine with an electric water heater set at 140 degrees Fahrenheit
• Prilosec OTC® – Has saved more than 700 tons of foil-based packaging materials over the past three years *vs. the previous packaging
• Cascade Complete® Action Pacs – Skip the pre-wash and save up to 2,600 gallons of water per year *based on an average of 12.5 gallons of pre-washing water at 4 loads per week
