On January 1, 2011, when amusement game industry veteran Jack Guarnieri announced the formation of a new company to design and build commercial Pinball Machines, the world of Pinball turned upside down. The company known as Jersey Jack Pinball (JJP) had licensed the iconic film, The Wizard of Oz, from Warner Bros. Consumer Products to be their first game. Jack's roots have been in pinball since 1975 when he started to repair electromechanical pinball machines.

JJP will build 1,000 very special 'Emerald City Limited Edition' versions, which have been sold out since 2011, followed by a standard version The Wizard of Oz Pinball Machine which the company expects to be a huge hit worldwide. JJP has spent $2 million in an effort to make "the best pinball machine ever built." Orders for the pinball machine can be placed online, or by phone at 732-364-9900 ext 203.

The Wizard of Oz Pinball Machine will check the boxes of many "industry firsts" and is a paradigm shift for pinball into the 21st century.  Some of these innovations include a 26" HD LCD Display featuring full custom animation, movie clips, scoring, backglass artwork, RGB-LED Playfield Lighting, a 7 Speaker 2.1 Digital Audio system, full color digitally printed solid wood Cabinets and Playfields featuring Premium Clearcoat Technology and much more.

In addition to integrating new technology, every inch of the machine aesthetically was extremely thought out to ensure each aspect of The Wizard of Oz was illustrated. The game includes a magnetized flying monkey that scoops up your ball, Dorothy's house which spins and drops on the feet of the Wicked Witch of the East, a crystal ball that displays animations through a small backlit LCD monitor, ruby red "slipper flippers," and countless other aspects of the classic movie.

JJP's second game will be based on the upcoming movie trilogy of J. R. R. Tolkien's book, The HobbitThe Hobbit Pinball Machine is currently in the design phase and will be released late 2014. The company has pre-sold over 1000 units so far.

Jack exclaims, "My 'Oz' is finally seeing these incredible games make their way out of our factory and into the homes and arcades of our unbelievably loyal and patient customers. We hope this game will bring smiles to their faces for many years to come!"
