About Lisa Kay Solomon

With more than 25 years of experience in strategic foresight and design thinking, Lisa Kay Solomon helps leaders navigate complexity and shape a better future. She teaches popular futures-oriented courses at Stanford's d.school, co-hosted the NAIS podcast New View EDU for school leaders, and creates innovative civic engagement programs such as The Team for student athletes and The Futures Happening: Democracy Edition.

Her work has reached tens of thousands of students and next-gen voters. Lisa recently joined the board of The Long Now Foundation, serving on their Executive Committee, and helped build the K12 Futures library at Stanford to help infuse long-term thinking and empathic decision-making for the future into both classrooms and boardrooms.

Lisa is the co-author of the bestselling book Moments of Impact: How to Design Strategic Conversations that Accelerate Change and other works on innovation, leadership and design.
