The Spectralink 8453 phone also includes a barcode scanner to increase mobile productivity. The barcode scanner is compatible with industry-standard 1D and 2D types, including EAN and UPC barcodes.

New Spectralink DECT phones include handsets for office environments and manufacturing facilities. The colorful Butterfly-series DECT phones deliver basic call functions and easy-to-use interfaces for office personnel. More intensive models, such as the higher-end 7000-series models, offer features such as ATEX and MET certification for use in potentially explosive environments. Spectralink DECT servers, base stations and repeaters are also available to extend the system's wireless reach.
