MERRILLVILLE, Ind., March 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce it has filled a key position by promoting from within. Michael Hildum, the general manager of the Courtyard Houston by the Galleria has been named the regional vice president of Region 6, covering 12 hotels in Texas.

Hildum joined White Lodging as the General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Houston by the Galleria during the summer of 2009. He brings with him over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry which includes multiple General Manager and District General Manager roles for La Quinta, Inc., Prime Hospitality Corporation, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Presidian, where he opened the Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Sugar Land in the fall of 2008.
Hildum said he is looking forward to working directly with the general managers and their teams to help them receive the highest balanced scorecard possible.
