New Senior Pastor at Word of Faith Church in Southfield Launches "God's Future For You" Campaign

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Did you know that God has a future for you? Want to know more? The Challenge campaign launches Sunday, October 2, 2011, and concludes October 29, 2011. Sunday morning sessions are held at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Word of Faith located at 20000 W. Nine Mile Road, corner of Evergreen Road.

The 28-Day Challenge involves teachings on Sunday mornings focused on the future God has for you. The same theme is taught ministry wide, involving both children's and youth ministry. We want our youth and children to understand that regardless of what is happening in their world, God loves them and has a future for them too. Ministry on the Challenge topic is also done in our small groups, which are held weekly throughout the Challenge.

Going day-by-day through Pastor Andre's new book release, God's Future For You, you will learn the practical application principles for achieving your best life now.  You don't need the book to take the Challenge, but it will not disappoint with its relevant content about the amazing life God wants you to enjoy.

We're excited!!! Throughout the Challenge, beginning October 2, Word of Faith members and attendees will be donating various items for the Detroit Rescue Mission and Vista Maria. Such items include undershirts for men and boys; pajamas for men, women and children of all ages; and ankle socks for all.  If you would like to donate, please drop your items off at one our lobby doors.  

Word of Faith members are also participating in an initiative called Shockwave, where members are performing random acts of kindness around Detroit and Metro Detroit with a goal of sending a shockwave of God's kindness through the cities.
