Attorneys Merri Baldwin and John Heller have rejoined Rogers Joseph O'Donnell as shareholders. Both return to the firm after practicing as partners at Chapman, Popik & White LLP.
Ms. Baldwin emphasizes attorney liability and complex business litigation. She has extensive trial and arbitration experience and handles matters involving legal malpractice, law firm partnership disputes, and attorney disqualification motions. She represents attorneys before the State Bar of California and is a member of the State Bar of California Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct. Ms. Baldwin is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is also a committee co-chair for the ABA Litigation Section Committee on Professional Liability Litigation and an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law.
Mr. Heller's practice focuses on trials and appeals of commercial litigation, professional liability, and civil rights. He has over twenty years of litigation experience, ranging from state and federal jury trials to international arbitration of disputes involving commercial transactions, fraud and professional negligence. He also collaborates with public interest organizations on cases involving constitutional issues, and serves as a mediator as an adjunct to his litigation practice.
