According to the Company, the report will serve as a guide for security practitioners to prepare for breaches caused by morphing, dynamic, and zero-day threats and is a collaboration by advanced threat experts from leading security companies. Cadence Design Systems Inc. Analyst Notes
On March 12, 2014, Cadence Design Systems Inc. (Cadence) and JSC Mikron jointly announced that Mikron has licensed Cadence® Physical Verification System (PVS) and Cadence QRC Extraction to be used in Mikron's basic 90nm IC design flow. "EDA tools from Cadence significantly extend our capabilities in the area of IC design services and help us design new generations of ICs," said Nikolay Shelepin, Deputy Director of Mikron's Science Department. "Now, we provide a complete IC design flow using the most advanced design tools which include additional technological options to the basic technologies." The Companies informed that Mikron expects to lower the development costs of new generations of ICs by leveraging Cadence tools and providing other independent design centers with Cadence solutions. SAP AG Analyst Notes
On March 20, 2014, SAP AG (SAP) reported that its Executive Board and the Supervisory Board has recommended shareholders to approve a dividend of €1.00 per share for fiscal year 2013 at its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM). According to the Company, the dividend represents a growth of 18% YoY, and in case the shareholders approve the aforesaid recommendation at the AGM, the total amount of dividends to be distributed will be c. €1.2 billion. "We believe our shareholders should benefit from SAP's continued profitable growth in 2013," said Werner Brandt, CFO of SAP. "The pay-out ratio remains stable at 36% leading to a dividend increase by 18% which demonstrates SAP's commitment to our shareholder base." On March 20, 2014, Unwired Planet, Inc. (Unwired) and Lenovo together announced that the latter has agreed to purchase a portfolio of patents from the Company and to take a term-based license to Unwired Planet's patent portfolio. According to the Companies, the transaction, which is valued at $100 million cash, is expected to close in 30 days.
