SAN FRANCISCO, July 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The new on-demand valet service app Luxe is now available in Boston, Massachusetts. Additionally, Luxe is available in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle and New York City with plans to expand to Washington D.C., Austin and Philadelphia later this year.
Armed with a mission to relieve customers of the time consuming frustrations associated with urban parking, Luxe offers a simple solution: on-demand valet service with a touch of a button. Simply pull up the app on your phone and request a valet before you get into your car. Luxe will monitor as you get closer to your destination and a valet in a blue polo shirt or jacket will meet you there (you'll know it's them because their name and photo show up in the app so you can be sure you're giving your keys to a Luxe representative). The valet will then park your car in a secure lot or garage and can return your car where and when you request it - even if it's in a different location from where you started. Luxe ensures the most convenient and safe way to manage your car around the city and also conveniently offers additional services like car washing and refueling.
Luxe is currently available in Boston Common, Historic Downtown, Government Center, Financial District/Downtown Crossing, Waterfront, Leather District, Chinatown, Theatre District, Bay Village, Park Square and the majority of Back Bay. Expansion into the North End is planned for August 1, with Fort Point and Beacon Hill to follow in the near future. Those attending games and other events at Fenway Park can park more efficiently by dropping cars with valets along the Western edge of Luxe's coverage area, along Massachusetts Avenue, and enjoying the short walk from there to the stadium.
Current hours are: Monday to Thursday, 7am-10pm; Friday, 7am-12am; Saturday, 10am-12am; and Sunday, 11am-7pm, with plans to extend in the future. Luxe costs $5 per hour with a maximum of $25 per day. Overnight parking is an extra $10.
To celebrate its arrival in Boston, Luxe is offering a $30 credit to all users that sign up using the code "WICKEDGOOD."
