Event Will Feature Live Entertainment, Gourmet Food Trucks & Demolition Derby
COSTA MESA, Calif., Oct. 19, /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The people who bring you the OC Fair are debuting a New Year's Eve Block Party on December 31 from 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Unlike other New Year's Eve celebrations, the New Year's Eve Block Party is offering great fun in a casual setting. No black ties here!
The New Year's Eve Block Party will offer live tribute band entertainment by the decade – from the '60s to the '90s – plus DJs and karaoke. Tribute bands include Jumping Jack Flash (The Rolling Stones), Journey Unauthorized (Journey), Dead Man's Party (Oingo Boingo), Stepping Feet (Dave Matthews Band) and more. There will be a large gathering of gourmet food trucks to satisfy every appetite. In the style of the OC Fair, there will be a demolition derby for thrill-seekers. At midnight, there will be a pyrotechnic show to ring in the New Year.
General admission is $25 pre-sale ($35 after 12/19) and includes admission to the event and all live music entertainment. General parking is $10 ($20 for preferred). There are also combination packages that include an OC Fair 2011 Super Pass starting at $45. Additional charges apply for food truck fare, beverages and demolition derby.
