"It seemed natural that an Oriental Medicine School should be in Chinatown," said Lisa Pamintuan, president of New York College of Health Professions. "For years, Chinese practitioners and herbalists have been working in Chinatown, and we are the first institutionally accredited College to open in the neighborhood. We look forward to serving the community, and to working with all students who want to learn about Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Massage Therapy or Holistic Nursing, and who now will have access to us on Houston Street."
