Joining S&P DJI in this endeavor and helping to bring greater awareness to the families that are still in need of assistance more than two years after the storm ripped through the region, is John Wallace –former Syracuse college star and NBA standout for the New York Knicks. Mr. Wallace has strong ties to the boroughs of New York City, and consistently plays an ongoing role in providing assistance to those in need throughout the City.

Since the storm, Habitat for Humanity New York City has successfully mobilized hundreds of volunteers to help rebuild and repair damaged homes in Staten Island and Coastal Brooklyn. Through the Critical Home Repair program, each week Habitat NYC volunteers build alongside the families affected.
