New York Life Retirement Plan Services Launches Animated "Whiteboards" To Engage 401(k) Plan Participants

WESTWOOD, Mass., Oct. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- New York Life Retirement Plan Services (New York Life), a leading provider of retirement plan solutions to U.S. corporations and unions, has launched a new video series of animated "whiteboards" illustrating the importance of retirement planning concepts for 401(k) plan participants. The whiteboard series expands the online tools New York Life utilizes to engage participants in retirement savings.

The MyLifeNow Chronicles, offered as a standard part of New York Life's participant communications suite, is a new video series weaving together video-scribing, animation, and narration on core topics such as saving more and taking full advantage of a company match. The video series was rolled out across New York Life Retirement Plan Services' defined contribution plan platform in late September. The first three Chronicle videos are: The Adventures in Saving More; Let's Talk about Match; and Put Your Savings on "Otto" Pilot. In early 2014, New York Life will introduce the next group of videos on 401(k) loans, asset allocation and OnTarget, New York Life Investments' managed account program for 401(k) participants.
