Edward Stalling, a veteran who suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, was given a dosage of antidepressant Trazodone as treatment for his PTSD, but instead was left with a weeks-long erection, according to his attorney. The medication allegedly not only "disfigured" Mr. Stalling, but has left him completely impotent.

Mr. Stalling reportedly spent 10 days in a hospital bet with needles in his penis after efforts by doctors were unsuccessful in alleviating his condition. To make matters worse, Mr. Stalling reports he was ridiculed by doctors, one of whom, he claims, said he should line up all the women nearby to look at him, essentially turning him into a spectacle. This apparently is not the only time the medication has caused the condition Mr. Stallng is experiencing, and his attorney cited a lawsuit in Pennsylvania that took place under similar circumstances in which the plaintiff was awarded $10 million. The hospital vaguely stated that it was looking into what happened, but would not comment further given the pending litigation.
