New York Startup Puts Professional Voice Actors within Reach by Offering Voice Recordings Online
NEW YORK, May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Voice over casting website The Voice Realm has forged ahead in the online crowdsourcing marketplace this week by increasing options to further streamline the process of hiring a voice actor online. The web portal allows anyone to connect with a professional male and female voice actors and have broadcast quality recordings back directly to their computer within a matter of hours. A process that used to take days and even weeks.
Speaking from London on Monday, where the website was moved to one of the world's fastest dedicated servers, marketing manager Robert James said the websites success is due the ease of use of the site and the fact that anyone is able to choose from over 1,000 professional voice actors. "We see clients turn into repeat customers and praising of our voice actors for their professionalism and speed of service. Many have been let down by other sites that list anyone who wants to join, but our system is wildly different with much more of a human service and less computer algorithms."
The landscape of voice casting has transformed 180 degrees in the past 10 years, with the majority of voice actors now providing professional broadcast quality recordings from home studios. This process allows for recordings to be delivered quickly and more affordably. Even now, traditional agencies in big cities are using casting websites when they don't have local talent for a client.
