Simple Styles collection of styling tools makes modern styles easy, affordable

ATLANTA, June 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Newell Rubbermaid's (NYSE: NWL) Goody® brand, the most widely-recognized name in hair accessories and styling tools, announces the launch of Goody Simple Styles, a collection of four easy-to-use tools that help women achieve a number of trend-forward, salon-inspired styles – including the undone bun, voluminous ponytail, volume boost and modern twist – on their own, at home, no professional stylist required.

In a recent study, Goody found 76 percent of women would like to create more professional, salon-quality hairstyles at home, but find this nearly impossible to accomplish. That same survey revealed most women have the same three general frustrations with "do-it-yourself" accessories – they are difficult to use, have complicated instructions and are expensive.

The line is available in shades to complement both blonde and brunette hair.

The user-friendly Goody Simple Styles collection includes a Spin Pin, Pony Pouf, Modern Updo Pin and Volume Boost Comb, and the suggested retail price for each is $6.49. The collection is now available nationwide at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS and Duane Reade stores.
