Newforma Announces AI-Powered Innovations and Open Ecosystem Strategy at Newforma World 2026

New capabilities in AI, integration, and hybrid modernization help AEC firms reduce friction, improve visibility, and evolve on their own terms

Announced at Newforma World 2026, the company's latest roadmap advances Newforma's vision for more connected, intelligent and secure project delivery. This combines Newforma's AI-driven automation, supports open integrations and reinforces a "cloud-first, not cloud-forced" approach that supports customers wherever they are in their modernization journey.

Newforma launched Vojo, its new AI assistant, built on an agent-driven framework designed to help users search project information, analyze content and complete tasks more efficiently. Initial capabilities include natural language search across project data, AI-driven analysis across BIM models and documents and AI-assisted submittal review workflows.

A key focus of the roadmap and Vojo's first capability is embedding intelligence directly into everyday project workflows such as Smart Email Filing, an AI-powered capability that automatically associates emails with projects and recommends filing locations for RFIs, submittals, and action items, helping teams create a more complete and defensible project record.

These capabilities are supported by Newforma's strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing secure and scalable infrastructure for advanced AI innovation.

As part of its continued investment in an open, vendor-agnostic connected ecosystem, Newforma announced new and expanded integrations that allow customers to evolve without disrupting existing workflows. These include a new integration between Bluebeam and Newforma Konekt, a new partnership with Egnyte, Microsoft Teams integration to support defensible communication records, and a new connector with OFCDESK for Autodesk Build workflows.

The company also announced continued investment in hybrid modernization. Newforma Project Center remains a strategic part of that vision, supporting long-term and repeatable projects while enabling seamless transitions to cloud-connected environments. Newforma also announced a new FedRAMP Moderate initiative and ongoing work toward advanced compliance requirements.
