NEW YORK, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --  News America Marketing, the premier publisher of coupons in the U.S. and Canada, producing billions of coupons annually, today announced that Robert Spitz has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, National Sales Manager, and Heidi Gray has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Central Division Sales. Previously, Robert had held the title of Executive Vice President, Central Division Sales, responsible for clients based in the Chicago, Cincinnati, and Minneapolis regions.  Heidi had held the title of Senior Vice President, Regional Sales Manager. The two have been with the company for a combined 45 years.   

In his new position, Mr. Spitz will oversee the core sales force of over 200 members in twelve sales offices across the US and Canada, with the Eastern, Central and Western Divisions' core sales teams reporting to him.  In addition, he will also oversee the SmartSource Media Group, and the Direct Response and Digital teams. He will move from the Chicago office to the New York-based company's headquarters.

Mr. Spitz joined News America Marketing in 1994 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Marketing and Logistics.  He started as an account coordinator and held a variety of sales and managerial positions in the Chicago, Wilton, Minneapolis, and New York offices.  He will reside in New York with his wife, Alyssa, and their three children.

Ms. Gray will take over the reins of the Central Division. Heidi is a News America Marketing veteran of 25 years, and has worked in both the New York and Chicago offices over the course of her career. In her new role, she will oversee the Chicago, Minneapolis and Cincinnati offices core businesses, from the Central Division's headquarters in Chicago.

Ms. Gray joined News America Marketing in 1988 as an account coordinator in Chicago after graduating from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She moved to New York in 1991, taking on roles of increasing responsibility before moving back to Chicago in 2008 as the Senior Vice President, Regional Manager. She has received numerous awards throughout her career and has worked with Human Resources to develop a consultative sales training program that establishes standard practices for the entire sales force. Ms. Gray lives in Chicago with her husband Robert and three children.
