WALLDORF, Germany, Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that Unified Inbox, a participant of the SAP® Startup Focus program, is leveraging the SAP HANA® platform for its sorting mechanism InboxRank® and the Unified Inbox mobile app. Unified Inbox is a provider of a cloud-based unified communication and social collaboration platform that centralizes external conversations, social engagement and internal team collaboration into one single experience across desktop and mobile devices.

Dynamically changing algorithms that constantly handle inbox data in real time while adjusting to user desires and behaviors is a complex and critical undertaking, the Unified Inbox mobile app is a next-generation communication-as-a-service platform using SAP HANA software to help address these issues.
