NEXA Lending Launches NEXA Unlimited, Giving Loan Officers Access to 100% of All Loans

PHOENIX, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- NEXA Lending today announced the launch of NEXA Unlimited, a new model designed to fundamentally change what loan officers should expect from their mortgage company.

Through NEXA Unlimited, loan officers can access 100% of the revenues from NEXA loans. No flat fee, no added per-file fee, no correspondent funding fee, no margin added because NEXA shares the purchase advices on every single loan, AND no closing fee. For NEXA CEO Mike Kortas, the premise is simple: loan officers should receive all of the value they create.

Across the broker channel, loan officers routinely encounter flat fees, funding fees, file fees, correspondent fees, closing fees, additional margins, or other transaction-level charges on funded loans.

NEXA Unlimited is not designed to lower those fees, it is designed to eliminate them.

"The question I would ask every top-producing loan officer in America is simple: how does your current company compete with this?" Kortas said. "If you are giving away revenues on every transaction that you do not have to give away, why? What are you getting in return? And if you are a broker owner, you have to ask yourself the same question. How are you going to compete for great producers when someone else can provide them more?"

The model is aggressive enough that even members of NEXA's own executive team initially questioned whether the economics could work.

"When Mike first brought this model to me, I thought he was crazy. I genuinely did not believe the math could work," said Von Maharaj, CFO of NEXA Lending. "Then we ran the numbers..."

According to Maharaj, NEXA's scale, recent acquisitions, growing production volume, and deliberately lean operating structure fundamentally changed what the company could make possible.

"With the scale NEXA has already achieved, the additional volume coming into the organization, and the incredibly lean way we operate, the math absolutely works," Maharaj said. I don't need to make money on individual loans anymore, I make money on volume."

A Challenge to the Traditional Mortgage Company

The launch comes as established mortgage entrepreneurs are increasingly evaluating whether maintaining the cost, infrastructure, compliance burden, and administrative responsibility of a standalone mortgage company still creates the best outcome for their businesses and their loan officers.

Recent additions including Anthony Casa and UMortgage, as well as more to be announced later this week, reflect what Kortas sees as a larger industry shift.
