NFL Players Jump Onboard to Celebrate Everything Natural, Green and Healthy in Atlanta
It's All in the 70,000 Square Feet of the 7th Annual Alive! Expo
ATLANTA, March 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- While most people vehemently claim that they want to be healthier, be thinner and be greener, few really know how to make the right changes in their lives to accomplish those goals. Wouldn't it be great to find all of the latest advice, products and information all in one place? That dream will once again become a reality when Atlanta's annual Alive! Expo opens this May.
For added excitement, Atlanta Falcons player Ovie Mughelli will bring some of his NFL pals to help with the Ovie Mughelli Foundation's onsite obstacle course where kids of all sizes can learn about the importance of getting and staying active.
For one weekend, hundreds of health industry experts, green companies, natural product makers and just about anything else you can think of that means a better and healthier lifestyle will head to Alive! Expo to interact with and give straight answers directly to the public.
WHAT
Alive! Expo is Atlanta's first, largest and longest-running natural products and green living event truly dedicated to highlighting the best in natural health and wellness and educating the general public. During the weekend, over 20,000 attendees will enjoy sampling and learning about natural products, organic foods, eco-friendly pet and cleaning products, healthy cooking demonstrations, interactive fitness like Pilates and yoga, lectures from cutting-edge industry experts, food & wine sampling in the VIP Lounge, fun and interactive activities for children and so much more.
Each year, Alive! Expo partners with various eco-related non-profit organizations. In addition to the participation of the Ovie Mughelli Foundation, Project Green will once again be the show's partial beneficiary. And throughout the weekend, Alive! Expo will partner with local food banks by hosting onsite food drives to benefit local communities. Last year, the event collected 2,000 pounds of food, which was donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
