NH Healthy Families Earns a 4.0 out of 5-Star NCQA Medicaid Health Plan Rating

BEDFORD, N.H., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- NH Healthy Families, a New Hampshire-based health plan serving members and beneficiaries in the state Medicaid program, is pleased to announce that it has earned a 4.0 out of 5-Star NCQA Medicaid Health Plan Rating for NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2026: Medicaid for its 8^th consecutive year. NCQA is the national authority in health insurance quality measurement.

The 4.0-Star rating places NH Healthy Families among the top third of Medicaid plans in the nation. The distinction reflects strong clinical outcomes as well as the experience and trust of the members the health plan serves every day.

NCQA evaluates health plans on the quality of care provided to members, consumer satisfaction and the health plan's efforts to continuously improve health services. NCQA uses a rating methodology and displays the overall rating (in half-point increments) on a scale of 0-5, where 5 is the highest score and 0 is the lowest score.
