NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Nickelodeon Consumer Products today announced the first toy lines for Victorious, with products from Spin Master Ltd. and Sakar International debuting at Toy Fair 2011. The new Victorious toy lineup will feature innovative products such as fashion dolls, role play, playsets, and consumer electronics.
Since its launch in April 2010, Victorious has been the number-one live action comedy series in its timeslot on all TV with kids 6-11, tweens 9-14, and teens 12-17, reaching 14.4 million kids, 13.7 million tweens, and 11.4 million teens each quarter. Victorious is a co-production with Sony Music as part of an ongoing global partnership between Nickelodeon and Sony Music. Victorious is created and executive produced by Dan Schneider, who also created the other Nickelodeon hits iCarly, Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, The Amanda Show, and Kenan and Kel.
"I've had so many incredible things happen to me in the past year...but I never thought I would be co-designing a doll that looks like me," said Victoria Justice, star of Victorious. "It will be based on my character, Tori from my show, Victorious, and she will sing! How cool is that?"
"The first season of Victorious was wildly popular with millions of kids, tweens, and teens, and fans are looking for additional ways they can connect with the music and the characters from the show," said Manuel Torres, Senior Vice President, Global Toys and Video Games for Nickelodeon Consumer Products. "We are very excited to have partners like Spin Master and Sakar become involved with Victorious at such an early stage, by creating toys that allow fans to express themselves and engage with the show in advance of the highly anticipated second season."

Non-electronic merchandise such as computer sleeves and gaming accessories will join the lineup, again using Victorious branding for devotees who want to display their affection for the series.
Suggested retail prices for Sakar's Victorious collection will range from $9.99 to $99.99.
Currently in production on its second season, Victorious follows teenager Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) who attends the prestigious performing arts high school, Hollywood Arts. From her first day at the school, however, Tori feels out of place among the amazingly talented students, especially mean diva Jade (Elizabeth Gillies, Broadway's 13). But with the help of her older sister Trina (Daniella Monet, A Fairly Odd Movie, Nancy Drew) and new friends including the musically-gifted Andre (Leon Thomas III, August Rush, Broadway's The Lion King, iCarly), brooding bad boy Beck (Avan Jogia, Spectacular!), eccentric Cat (Ariana Grande, Broadway's 13) and lovable but psychologically scrambled ventriloquist Robbie (Matthew Bennett) – Tori realizes that she was born to perform and that entertaining people not only makes her happy but may change her life. The series features original music performed by Victoria Justice and the ensemble cast.
