Nikki Beach opens the Cannes Film Festival with Stephane Kossmann

For the past 25 years Kossman has been a Cannes red carpet resident and renowned photographer to the stars. His candid black and white images have earned him international recognition and placement in some of the world's most curated events. His book titled "Black and White Carpet" is a collection of some of his greatest work, capturing some of Hollywood's greats in their most natural state.

ABOUT STEPHANE KOSSMANN

Stephane Kossmann was born in Tours (France) of Franco-German parents. He learned the secrets of the profession by working in a photo-processing laboratory, before enrolling in a course at the Rencontres internationales de la photographie in Arles. There, he experienced a renewed enthu- siasm and appreciation for photography and was introduced to world-renowned photographer Peter Knapp. This was a turning point in his career which led him to work for 7 à Paris magazine. In 1989, the magazine appointed him to cover the Cannes Film Festival.
