Contis will steward the company's naming group, which is integrated within the firm's full-service brand development practice.
Contis joined Siegel+Gale last year as director of strategy in Siegel+Gale's San Francisco office. He has led successful naming projects for Demand Media's TypeF (Tyra Banks' new fashion site) and social commerce entrant Beget. He has also worked with Dow AgroSciences to name lead offerings such as Enlist.
Contis has over 20 years of experience developing brand names and strategic branding programs for firms in the technology, entertainment, financial services, consumer, retail and tourism sectors. He recently held senior positions at Lexicon Branding, where he managed global brand naming programs for Microsoft, Intel, Nokia, VH1 and Toyota.
