Following a Successful First Half of 2026, Nikon Tour Continues This Fall with Hands-On Photography, Filmmaking and Lens Experiences for All Types of Creators
MELVILLE, N.Y., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Nikon announced the second half of the 2026 Nikon Tour, bringing its creator-focused programming to five additional cities across the U.S. this fall. Beginning September 25th, the Nikon Tour will roll into Dallas, followed by Nashville, Baltimore/Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Boston.
In 2026, so far Nikon Tour has welcomed more than 1,300 attendees across five stops, bringing together photographers, filmmakers and creators of all skill levels to participate in educational sessions, explore Nikon's latest cameras and lenses, and connect with Nikon Ambassadors, Creators and fellow members of their local creative communities.
The Nikon Tour is free for all attendees, offering photography and videography sessions, educational workshops and opportunities to create with the latest Nikon gear. Building on the success of its inaugural run, this year's Nikon Tour has introduced dedicated programming days – "Intro to Photography," "NIKKOR Z Lens Day" and "ZR Day" – tailored specifically for beginners, more experienced photographers and cinema creators. During NIKKOR Z Lens Day, participants can explore Nikon's extensive lens lineup, with attendees at previous stops testing as many as four or five lenses in a single session. Nikon Z Day gives filmmakers the chance to put the ZR's video capabilities to use in real-world shooting environments.
"The first half of the Nikon Tour was incredibly successful in bringing our community together and providing meaningful ways for creators of all levels to connect, learn and experience Nikon gear firsthand," said Kristen Pritchett, Marketing Events & Experiential Manager, Nikon Inc. "We're thrilled to get back on the road this fall to bring fresh inspiration to photographers and filmmakers while helping them to push their creative boundaries and build lasting relationships with their peers."
Further elevating the tour experience, Nikon is teaming up with Sandisk to provide CFexpress™ memory cards on Nikon ZR Days. Attendees will be able to use the Nikon cameras and a Sandisk card to capture content that will be uploaded to the cloud for future access. During Beginner and NIKKOR Z Lens Days, attendees will have a chance to receive Sandisk giveaways at select events.
The second leg of the Nikon Tour will kick off in Dallas, TX, from September 25–27 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, led by Nikon Creator Danny Batista. Attendees can also look out for Nikon's custom-branded bright yellow SUV, which will serve as a central hub for creator activities and opportunities to experience Nikon gear. Attendees can also look forward to new instructors joining this next phase, including Nikon Ambassadors Brandon Woelfel and Mike Mezeul, as well as Nikon Creator Rick Southers. Each will bring their unique expertise to engaging, hands-on sessions designed to inspire and build attendees' creative skills.
