FRANKLIN, Tenn., Oct. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 7,200 Nissan LEAF owners around the United States have the opportunity on Oct. 16 to celebrate National Plug In Day. This first-of-its-kind event is a gathering of owners of the Nissan LEAF and other electric cars in 26 cities around the United States. The week culminates with the Oct. 21 theatrical premier of the critically acclaimed documentary Revenge of the Electric Car, which prominently features the development of the Nissan LEAF, the world's first and only mass-marketed all-electric car.
