NJBIZ Names Transwestern The No. 1 Best Place To Work In New Jersey

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Transwestern today announces it has been named the No. 1 Best Place to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ, taking the top spot in the large companies category. The commercial real estate firm was honored May 1 at a gala event attended by more than 700 people.

The Best Places to Work program recognizes the top 100 places of employment in New Jersey. The selected companies are broken into two categories – small companies with 15 to 249 employees and large companies with more than 250 employees.

The first phase of the selection process consists of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second portion consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.

The Best Companies Group conducted the overall registration and survey. The group also analyzed the data and used its expertise to determine the final rankings.

Additionally, Transwestern's New York office received the Best Places to Work distinction in December 2013 from Crain's New York Business.
