Fairchild is a renowned food writer and editor, having previously served as the Editor-in-Chief of Bon Appetit Magazine for the last 10 years, as well as authoring the publication's best-selling cookbooks.

She has been recognized by the James Beard Foundation's "Who's Who of Food and Beverage in America," and is a regular presence on radio and TV programs involving food, restaurants and travel.
