Nominate Your Teaching Assistant for America's Top TA 2013 -- National Challenge by CengageBrain

STAMFORD, Conn., March 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Does your favorite TA get the recognition he or she deserves? College students now have the chance to thank the TA (teaching assistant) who has had the biggest impact on their education through America's Top TA competition by CengageBrain.

CengageBrain (www.cengagebrain.com), the premier destination for purchasing and renting textbooks, eBooks and learning solutions, will take nominations through April 3rd during which time students can honor the TA who has had the most lasting impression on their academic career. Three winning teaching assistants will each get one $2,500 scholarship created in their name, and the reigning Top TAs will even become part of the integral team that selects the scholarship recipients. Scholarship criteria will be determined at a later date with input from the Top TAs.

To nominate a TA, please visit CengageBrain's Facebook page and tell them why your teaching assistant deserves to become America's Top TA for 2013. Following the nomination period, voting will then be open to the public to determine which of the top ten teaching assistants will ultimately receive CengageBrain's title of America's Top TA. Winners will be announced during Teacher Appreciation Week, the week of May 6.
