Nominations Now Open for DrFirst 2025 Healthiverse Heroes Award

Honoring Healthcare Organizations and Technology Partners Using Innovative Technology to Improve Medication Access, Affordability, and Adherence

ROCKVILLE, Md., May 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Nominations are now open for the 2025 Healthiverse Heroes Award from DrFirst, a pioneer in end-to-end medication management. Now in its fifth year, the program celebrates organizations using technology to transform care—helping patients start and stay on necessary therapy while easing administrative work for clinicians.

This year's award program takes on special meaning as DrFirst marks its 25th year of innovation. The term "Healthiverse" reflects the company's vision of healthcare stakeholders connecting with the information they need—when and where they need it.

The 2025 Healthiverse Heroes Award will honor the healthcare organizations and technology partners improving medication management and simplifying clinical workflows to advance patient care.

Nominations are open through June 20, 2025, and all healthcare organizations and technology partners using DrFirst solutions are eligible to enter. Submissions will be evaluated by a panel led by DrFirst chief medical officer Colin Banas, M.D., M.H.A., and comprised of practicing pharmacists, nurses, and other clinical experts.

Winners will be announced in August. Honorees will also receive a plaque and a digital badge to share on their website and social media.
