Nord Anglia Education Announces New Education Director
HONG KONG, July 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nord Anglia Education (NYSE: NORD), the world's leading premium schools organization, announces Dr Peter Hill as Education Director. Dr Hill's experience in numerous educational systems globally, including the British, American and Australian systems, ideally places him to drive the progression of the educational offering in Nord Anglia Education's 41 international schools around the world.
Dr Hill will lead Nord Anglia Education's global Education Team to ensure that the schools' educational practice, curricula and programs are second to none. Comprised of senior education experts, the team provides specialist support to schools, and leads best practice and continuous improvement programs informed by the latest thinking in teaching and learning.

With over 45 years' experience in the education sector, Dr Hill's extensive career spans numerous educational systems, including the UK, USA, Australia, and Hong Kong. Most recently, he was the founding Chief Executive of the Australian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (ACARA). In this position he played a key role in the development of a national curriculum, the administration of a national assessment program and creation of the ground-breaking My School website. Prior to this, he was Secretary General of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, where he coordinated a number of initiatives to reform senior secondary certification.
