North Carolina Farm with Luxe Estate & Event Barn to Sell at Luxury Auction® Nov 7

FRANKLIN, N.C., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A multimillion-dollar estate and farm on 84 acres in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains is now up for sale to the highest bidder. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the property will be sold at a luxury auction^® without reserve, and will go to the highest auction bidder regardless of price. The Franklin, NC property features a luxurious residence, upscale event barn and 3 guest cottages, and was previously asking $6.9 million. Luxury real estate auction house Platinum Luxury Auctions is handling the transaction in cooperation with listing agent Isaiah Thomas Johns of Mountain Pro Real Estate Professionals.

Known as Tessentee Farm, the property is an opportunity for both retail purchasers and investors, according to Platinum's founder and president, Trayor Lesnock. "Though it's terrific as a private farm, the property has also proven to generate income from traditional and vacation rentals, in addition to the hosting of large-scale weddings and events." To be sure, a Google search of "Tessentee Farm NC" shows the property has 39 customer reviews and a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars for its rental and event bookings to date.

Tessentee's event barn has hosted gatherings for up to 150 guests. The 5,000-sf structure offers heat and A/C, and includes a lower level and upper loft, plus one (1) half-bath. Exposed wood beams and rustic décor create a warm atmosphere that welcomes a celebration. Just off the barn are 3 guest cabins, each measuring approx. 900 sf with 2 beds and one (1) full bath.

The farm lead attraction, however, is arguably its main residence. Built in 2010, the tri-level home spans nearly 14,000 sf of living area, with 8 bedrooms, 9 full baths and one (1) half-bath. When accounting for the additional living structures, Tessentee Farm offers a total of 14 bedrooms, 12 full baths and 2 half-baths, and can comfortably sleep up to 25 overnight guests.

Residence features include a spacious kitchen, private office and an oversized primary suite with a fireplace, walk-in closets and bath with walk-in shower and multiple shower heads. The home's lower living level is designed for entertaining, and includes another full kitchen, game parlor, recreation room and additional "flex" space ready for customization.

The home's outdoor living areas are also built for entertainment, and include a large, screened patio, stone terrace and a heated, lagoon-style pool with custom water slide, swim-up bar, summer kitchen and hot tub.

Tessentee Farm's grounds consist of gently rolling hills and sprawling lawns. A series of solar panels located just off the main residence provide reduced energy costs, with a Generac^® generator offering emergency/back-up power. There is also a trout-rich creek bordering much of the property - perfect for a day of fishing right in the back yard.

The town of Franklin is tucked within the foothills of North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, just a 90-min drive from Asheville, NC and within 2.5 hours of both Knoxville, TN and Atlanta, GA. The picturesque town is a big draw for outdoor enthusiasts, due to its location within the Great Smoky Mountains and Nantahala National Forest, and its proximity to the Appalachian Trail.

Previews of Tessentee Farm are available daily through the close of November 6, 2026. Previews may be scheduled by contacting Platinum's project manager, Renée Alossi, at 800.262.5132.
