North Highland Vice President honored with Consulting Magazine's Women Leadership Award

ATLANTA, Nov. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Global consulting firm, North Highland, is pleased to announce that Vicki Shillington, Vice President and global Professionalizing IT Lead for North Highland, was the recipient of Consulting Magazine's 7th annual "Women Leaders in Consulting Leadership Award." Recognized for her professional accomplishments and aptitude for developing people, Shillington was honored at an awards ceremony on November 7 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City.

Vicki created and launched Professionalizing IT, a solution that that enables IT organizations to set themselves up for the future and are able to run themselves as a business.  This service offering has helped clients around the world realize greater value from the IT function.

Recently, Vicki has expanded the "Professionalizing" solution to several other functions, including Human Resources, Procurement and Finance.  She is a mentor and leader to several future women leaders, and is currently based out of our Los Angeles office, after spending 10 years helping to build our successful London operation.

At the 7th annual award ceremony gala, 12 women nationwide were chosen out of hundreds of nominations to be acknowledged in the areas of leadership, lifetime achievement, client service and future leaders.
