Northern Lakes Seafood Moves To Met Hotel In Troy, Michigan
DETROIT, Nov. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Epicurean Group's Northern Lakes Seafood Restaurant (Northern Lakes), one of the region's landmarks for nearly two decades, is moving from Bloomfield Hills, MI to the Met Troy hotel in Troy, MI. The new location for Northern Lakes will be part of LA Square, a new 17-acre commercial Crooks Road development at I-75 and Crooks Road. Northern Lakes will reopen for business with an expanded menu in early December.
The Epicurean Group president, Eric J. Djordjevic, calls the Northern Lakes move a natural extension of the restaurant group, which also includes Coach Insignia, Deli Unique, Gastronomy, Novi Chophouse, Plaza Deli and Epic Cafe, a new chef-inspired casually comfortable eatery also scheduled to open in the Met Troy hotel. "Oakland County has long been recognized for its dining out history," said Djordevic. "We are confident that our move, coupled with our commitment to provide an extraordinary dining experience, will add to the revitalization of the Crooks Corridor."
Stan Dickson, CEO of The Epicurean Group, shares Djordjevic's view. "This is an exciting time for our business. We have future expansion plans and will have an upgraded Northern Lakes Seafood Restaurant. We are having fun with food."
"Troy has a remarkable shopping district, and I believe that LA Square will offer residents a place of retreat," added Djordjevic. "The Epicurean Group will be there to host their food and beverage needs through multiple concepts that we are bringing to the complex, and we are excited to give Northern Lakes a rebirth in this dynamic Troy development."
