Connected products are no longer a single device and a single software image. Today, manufacturers must manually map and sequence every single horizontal and vertical dependency between components, verify software-hardware compatibility, coordinate update order, and ensure security across the entire product system. Nearly three in five OEMs expect their current device management infrastructure to become inadequate in three years or less. Traditional software update infrastructure, designed for simpler products, is insufficient for today's advanced products.
