Northrop Grumman Engineering Executive Honored at 'Women of Influence Awards' Ceremony

BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sue Nowicki, engineering director at Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) Buffalo-based Amherst Systems business unit, was among 27 area women to be recognized for their business acumen and community spirit at the recent Buffalo Business First Women of Influence Awards.

Nowicki was honored in the Corporate Executive category, which recognizes female executives who have made their mark in a large corporate environment. A 25-year veteran of Northrop Grumman, Nowicki leads an engineering department that develops threat emitter simulators for pilot training.

Nowicki is also a member of the science, technology, engineering, art and math board at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart.
