NorthShore University HealthSystem and AVIA Partner to Focus On Patient Experience

CHICAGO, Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AVIA – a provider-led accelerator that puts the power of networks to task on the biggest problems in healthcare ­– announces NorthShore University HealthSystem, a not-for-profit healthcare delivery system serving the Chicago region, has joined the growing AVIA Innovator Network. 

Recently named to the 2014 InformationWeek Elite 100, a list of the top business technology innovators in the United States, NorthShore was one of just 15 hospitals or health systems nationally to make the list, which includes leading companies in fields ranging from manufacturing to information technology to banking and financial services.

AVIA will also be supporting internal innovation efforts at NorthShore by evaluating the commercialization potential of internally-developed innovation initiatives.  AVIA will leverage their solutions landscape knowledge and their proprietary innovation evaluation tools as part of the partnership.
