Norton Herrick to Produce "Precious Cargo" Starring Bruce Willis
NEW YORK, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Norton Herrick, producer of "Lone Survivor" and "2 Guns" along with his entertainment company, Herrick Entertainment will join "Precious Cargo" an action thriller that Bruce Willis will star in. Norton Herrick has teamed with producers Randall Emmett, George Furla, Scott Mann and James Edward Barker. Directed by Max Adams.
"Precious Cargo" will star Golden Globe winner Bruce Willis alongside Mark Paul Gosselaar, Claire Forlani and Daniel Bernhardt with Max Adams directing a screenplay he wrote based on his 2008 short film. The feature will be distributed through Lionsgate/Grindstone – and Highland Film Group has sold out foreign at Cannes.
Set in a world of double crossing professional thieves, Willis plays Eddie, a crime boss trying to score the profits from another crook's heist. The picture will finish production today in Biloxi, Mississippi.
"Precious Cargo" is Norton Herrick's first film with Bruce Willis. He produced "Lone Survivor" with Mark Wahlberg and "2 Guns" starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. Other producer credits include, "Very Good Girls" with Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Demi Moore, Peter Sarsgaard, Clark Gregg and Boyd Holbrook and "Nightlight" a supernatural thriller written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.
