Noted Commercial Real Estate Attorney Mark Weibel, Four Associates Join Thompson & Knight in Dallas

DALLAS, May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Weibel as a Partner in the Firm's Dallas office, together with four associates. Mr. Weibel and this experienced team of attorneys will combine with the Firm's existing real estate, banking, and financing expertise to establish a Capital Markets Practice Group.

Mr. Weibel and his team will focus on the representation of special servicers in the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) market and other related loan workout environments as well as commercial real estate, structured finance, and business transactions. Joining Mr. Weibel at Thompson & Knight are Associates Bryan L. Larson, Bryan D. Garner, Christopher W. Neilson, and Shannon Fey Stapp.

Mr. Weibel provides more than 20 years of experience representing clients in all types of commercial real estate matters, including serving as lead counsel in more than 500 transactions involving originations, workouts, securitizations, REMIC application and interpretation, public/private land development partnerships, and large-scale commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing projects.
