Novetta Names Richard Clements Chief Marketing Officer

MCLEAN, Va., Aug 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Novetta Solutions, LLC ("Novetta"), a technology firm specializing in advanced analytics, announced today the appointment of Richard Clements as the company's new Chief Marketing Officer.  Mr. Clements will lead branding and positioning to reinforce Novetta's value proposition, and build new marketing capabilities throughout the company, as it delivers innovative and robust advanced analytics technology solutions for the world's most challenging big data problems.

Mr. Clements joins Novetta after serving as Director of Marketing, Big Data, at IBM.  In this role he defined worldwide marketing strategy for IBM's Big Data and Analytics Platform including IBM's product offerings for Hadoop analytics and stream computing.  These products are both recognized leaders in their respective markets. He joined IBM via the acquisition of Initiate Systems where he led product marketing during a period of 50% compound annual growth.  He was instrumental in helping Initiate Systems transition from being a healthcare enterprise master patient index company to a cross-industry master data management leader.  Bringing more than 15 years of software marketing experience in early stage, high growth companies to the Novetta executive team, Mr. Clements will leverage his practical knowledge of all aspects of marketing to increase Novetta's growth.
