Novogradac to Host 2026 Historic Tax Credit Conference, Oct. 8-9 in St. Louis
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Novogradac Partner Mike Kressig will recognize the winners of the 2026 Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Historic Rehabilitation Awards at the Novogradac 2026 Historic Tax Credit Conference, Oct. 8-9 at the Ritz Carlton St. Louis.
The conference will bring developers, investors, lenders, accountants and advisors active in the historic tax credit (HTC) space to examine current developments in the market. Attendees will have access to educational sessions that will provide perspective on how the HTC market is responding to current conditions and where activity is headed.
Planned sessions include the Washington Report, debt and equity insights, a panel discussing the key provisions of Revenue Procedure 2014-12, a discussion of how the HTC can overlap with the opportunity zones incentive, an overview of state HTC programs, insights from State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs) featuring representatives from SHPOs throughout the United States, and more. The full conference agenda can be found here.
"While the HTC has remained relatively stable over time, evolving conditions such as changes in equity pricing, underwriting approaches and structuring expectations continue to influence the ways in which deals are evaluated and carried out," said Kressig, who is the chair of the conference. "This conference is a wonderful opportunity to connect with peers and see how others are handling current developments."
The Novogradac 2026 Historic Tax Credit Conference is co-hosted by Baker & Hostetler and J.P. Morgan. Barnes & Thornburg, Carlisle Tax Credit Advisors, Foss & Company, Heritage Consulting Group, Husch Blackwell, National Trust Community Investment Corporation, Polsinelli, Riemer & Braunstein and Stinson are sponsoring the conference. Exhibitors will include Klein Hornig, Kutak Rock, Stinson and U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance.
Novogradac will host a pre-conference workshop Wednesday, Oct.7.
