Furlong drops suit against Georgia Straight for story accusing him of abusing students

John Furlong, the former Vancouver Olympics CEO, told Global News he is no longer suing the Georgia Straight newspaper but will "escalate" legal actions against the writer of the article, Laura Robinson. Bob Mackin reports for The Tyee.

Postmedia reports loss of nearly $36 million in fourth quarter

Postmedia Network reported a loss of nearly $36 million in the last quarter, compared to a net loss of $28.4 million in the same period the previous year. The media company says it doesn't expect any improvements next year.
