BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Oakstone, one of the foremost providers of unbiased multimedia educational programs for healthcare professionals, and NRCME Training Systems, a leading provider of training programs for U.S. Department of Transportation examiners, have announced a strategic partnership to offer NRCME Plus+© Online Training System, an online program that helps medical professionals become certified under new Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations required to perform physical exams on commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers.

NRCME Plus+© Online Training System is specifically designed to satisfy the training prerequisites for medical professionals – including medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, chiropractic physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants – to sit for FMCSA's National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) certification exam.  FMCSA sites for NRCME certification testing open December 17, 2012, so that medical professionals can qualify for this new certification.
