NSF International Certifies WeatherTech's PetComfort Feeding System to Human Safety Standards

ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- NSF International, a global public health and safety organization, has certified the stainless steel bowl in WeatherTech's PetComfort Feeding System – making it the first pet product to meet human standards for quality, performance and material safety. To earn NSF's Certified for Home Use™ mark, products are independently tested to meet the rigorous quality and material safety requirements outlined in NSF P461: Special Purpose Products and Devices for Home Use.

Additionally, Yakas said pet bowls can be a breeding ground for bacteria and other microbes that can make your pet and your family sick. A study conducted by NSF International in 2011 found that pet bowls were one of the top five dirtiest places in the home.
