SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As cybercriminals and hackers continue to launch fresh DDoS attacks, NSFOCUS research teams are constantly identifying new attack techniques and strategies, a vital part of threat mitigation process. NSFOCUS announced today that 10-year security research veteran Yunhai Zhang was rewarded $75,000 from the Microsoft Mitigation Bypass program. Additionally, researcher Chen Zhang obtained more than ten acknowledgements in 2014 from Google and Microsoft for his efforts to identify vulnerabilities.

In recent years, NSFOCUS researchers have been awarded multiple acknowledgements from renowned companies such as Microsoft and Google, indicating the company's prowess in attack protection research.

  • The Microsoft Mitigation Bypass Bounty (MBB) - Launched in June 2013, Microsoft MBB pays up to $100,000 for innovative exploitation techniques against protections built into the latest version of its operating system.
